Michael C. Haigler is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the Eastman School of Music whose recent conducting credits include the operas Carmen, Don Giovanni, Marriage of Figaro, Elixir of Love and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Musical Theater Credits include Carousel, Iolanthe, HMS Pinafore and The Business of Passion (co written with Dexter Brigham). Haigler has conducted the Indiana University Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarasota Pops, Opera Company of Brooklyn, Cartersville Opera, Sarasota Youth Opera, University of Tennessee Opera Theater and at the New England Music Camp. He has appeared on A&E and was a finalist in Lorin Maazel's International Conducting Competition. Haigler was born in Atlanta and now lives in NYC. |
