Twelfth Night
by William Shakespeare
Soldiers and Sailors Park (free admission)
Official Season Opening: July 8th, 11am and 4pm
Wednesdays and Sundays at 2pm through August 12th
Viola, shipwrecked
on the coast of Elyria, disguises herself as a man for protection,
but falls in the love with the Duke. Unfortunately, the Duke sends
Viola to profess his love for Olivia, who, unfortunately, does not
love the Duke, but instead falls in love with Viola, who is, of
course, dressed as man. Confused yet? Wait til Viola’s twin brother
arrives on the scene! This comic masterpiece of love in disguise has
delighted audiences around the world for over four hundred years.
Filled with lovable characters, this play is presented outdoors in a
picnic-style environment in Princeton’s town square.
