THEATER CAMP 56
Princeton Theater Group and the University of
Illinois Extension are proud to offer this exclusive opportunity for
students interested in performing to work closely with professionals in
the industry.
Senior Session
Intended for
students ages 14-18, this one week, overnight, theater intensive is
designed for young theater artists who are considering pursuing
theater as a career. Campers will audition for, be cast in, rehearse
and perform an entire showcase production directed by members of the
Festival 56 company of artists. In addition, they will receive
workshops and master classes in auditioning, acting, dance and
singing.

Box Office at 815 879-5656. Applications are due by May 15th.
Junior Session
Intended for ages
8-13, this two week day camp focuses on developing performing and
creative skills and exposing campers to the various aspects of
theater. Campers present a showcase performance during the opening
day of Festival 56 and are also featured in the mainstage production
of Once Upon a Mattress.
Registration for
Theater Camp 56 Junior Session will be announced in the
local newspapers in May
